Back in malaysia

Im back in m'sia. Been unpacking, that is, no time to cry. Anyway i really think i feel better now. The past 24 hours or so was simply disastrous. Especially when leaving his room in the morning n at the airport. I admit i cried a lot. N i know i gave him a really hard time when i didn't want to leave.

I shall not elaborate on the moment i burst into tears once i saw the boarding gate. Nor will i detail out the hours of me crying in the plane or before i sleep after i reached putra heights.

Initially i thought i would be doing so. But after some time, the deeply emotional me has progressively subsided. N the more rational me has appeared! So this post will not be a miserable, gloomy, despondent one.*thankful look*

On the way back to vista, climbing the stairs to reach B1-B2-2, i had mixed feelings. I tried to sort it out. N if i need to put it into words, it would b a feeling of 'going back to reality.'

Having stayed in germany for one month felt like a dream. A wonderful dream. I loved every moment i spent there. I really love that place. Why exactly?

1) The air is so fresh. Makes me wana go for a walk at the park nearby.

2) People there are generally friendly, n honest.
3) Cars there r cheap. So, nice cars kiri kanan depan belakang.
4) Safety. At least much safer than in malaysia.
5) More of a countryside. Breathtaking scenery, very peaceful.-->ease at heart
6) Strong currency. Everything is cheap without converting.
7) No stray dogs. All are healthy n cute!ehe..

The list will go on and on if i do not stop. But that doesn't mean i don't love malaysia.=) Especially my family, frens and the food here.=)

Shopping @ stuttgart

It was a sunny day, which all germans would love going out. N having stayed here for a month, i love it when it is sunny too! It makes me feel energetic and full of life! We went there around noon, as ken said there wasn't much to shop there, one two hours can 'gao tim' already. But guess what we shopped there till 7pm.*salute*

And as usual, it was a very tough day when it comes to shopping for souvenirs. I only managed to get two presents..sigh.. A shirt which is for my dad, n a cap..not sure who to give yet..hehe..

We did not take many photos as:
Point 1-He was obviously sick of all the churches, ancient buildings, parliaments etc etc.
Point 2-I was getting sick of them already too..hahaha..

Anyway, here's one that i wanted to take cuz i love the park. Everyone can just lie there n have picnic. Well, there's one such lovely park in esslingen as well, with swans as a plus point.=)

This, according to kenneth, is a castle. But he wasn't sure either. Random guess.

This one is for my beloved daddy devi!haha.. Devi don't get me wrong. It was kenneth who asked me to pose there, to show to u..*he's happy that u geram with our Paris LV photo*

N finally, our grande item of the day. Creative 5.1 speakers. Well, obviously it's not mine. Kenneth didn't like his current speakers (so do i), so we got a new one.

P/s: the speakers were tested and proven (by me) to be a high-performance speakers at an affordable price!haha.. I got terrified when i heard the lion roar at the beginning of the movie we watched.

Rocky 1 to 6

I realised i haven been blogging much recently, and some people even asked me about it. Thanks for the concern!
Well, previously i usually blog when i was free. These few days, the free time has been used to watch these...

Yup, that's right. I have become an avid fan of sylvester stallone and have been watching rocky 1 to 5 for the past few days. Thanks to kenneth's internet speed here, it only takes 10-15 minutes to download a movie.
Apparently, foo yee's room connection is even faster. Download speed of around 1500kbps.*faint*

Anyway, i have yet to watch rocky balboa, the latest rocky, which i have already downloaded. Here, at the age of 60, he comes out from retirement and fights a 20sth heavyweight champion. This movie also stars
Milo Anthony Ventimiglia. Familiar? How bout Peter Petrelli?hehe..

GSM Association’s Best Handset 2008

sony ericsson w910i… a phone i still awww about since i first saw it in lee hom‘s bu wan zheng de xuan lu video clip. i’ve always referred it as the best musicphone for couple of times.

on the verge of gettin it, i was browsin around online when i learnt that gsma honoured it with the best handset 2008 award. i know this is an old news (global mobile awards was held in february 2008) but the fact that this phone beats it’s rivals like 3 skypephone, lg viewty, nokia 6500, and samsung sgh-g600 really amazed me.

i’m not sure whether the judges like the shake control, auto-rotate feature, 3d java games or hsdpa — or everythin that combined — it’s just the fact that the swedish-japanese handset maker has one of the best on-the-go entertainment devices in its portfolio.

shake control enables you to flick the phone to control games or skip and shuffle between music tracks while senseme lets it discover music to match your mood and tempo.

3d gaming gets physical by tiltin the phone forward, backward, left or right to control game functions while auto-rotate lets you view and play horizontally or vertically as you like.

walkman phone lets you have your favourite sounds with you always, whenever, wherever you go, with trackid support for music recognition and megabass for better, overall music experience.

3g phone gives you the ability to make live video calls, and enjoy browsing the web and manage your email effectively with the convenience of your phone, wherever you are.

of course, as a walkman series, i won’t expect much from it’s integrated camera. without auto focus and flash light, i can expect the picture quality to be horrible. not to worry, as i’ve already gotten myself a fujifilm f47fd camera.

the only question remains; should i wait for the upcomin w980?

on the very same ground we walk on

last friday the entire ‘gang’ reunited at kennee’s place to celebrate his bday with him
may wasnt around thou because she is still in cambodia (miss her) and nicholl wasnt around because he had work
everyone else from the college/uni gang was there
lallu, linda, kishan, kennee, jim (JIM! haha), kuan yew, azeem, mayur, yvonne, samantha

the night started off like how every other gatherings would
ppl were here and there waiting for the food
and u wouldnt believe the amount of pizza we had!!
ordered twice and each time baring 4 pizzas hahaha
and of course, the manly men were sitting in front of the tv playing their boy’s toys
and most of us girls went to sit in the kitchen
when the food arrived, linda, kishan, mayur and i quickly secured our fort at the kitchen table
we sat there eating and drinking and drinking and eating…
and we never left the table…
hahahahaha
well, considering the fact that the food literally arrives at our doorstep and that the bottle of liqour is sitting between all of us.. who’d wanna get up?

after a while, all of us sort of lost track of time
the conversation was good, everyone was discussing ‘the future’ and it was really relaxed
different people came to join us in the kitchen sporadically
and then i realised (i know i use this phrase a lot.. thats what happens when u’ve lost sight of the simplicities of life and is trying to change) that this group of people is the one group that i can be whoever i am and will be whoever i wanna be and they’d still (probably) accept me as i am!
like come on, how often can u let your hair down, say whatever u wanna say, sit however u wanna sit (and knowing me i sit like a guy with no regards to anyone), laugh however loud u want, dress however u wanna dress and they’d still not judge u?
all of us were speaking our minds, all of us were making jokes at each other’s expence, all of us were punching each other in good mirth..
and of course in groups like these, u’d hear curses going in all directions
especially when we can see the boys loosing to the girls at ps2 games from the kitchen
and does anyone cares?
no.
there were no walls, no fear of judgement.
none of us had to care about our image cos we’ve basically seen each other through thick and thin (or more like the torturous sedayan life)
that sort of comfort and satisfaction was priceless

have i ever mentioned how ‘diversed’ this group of friends are?
lets see..

lallu - westernised indian
linda - kenyan (but mentally half white)
kishan - indian kenyan
mayur - indian kenyan
kuan yew - chinese (looks taiwanese)
kennee - baba chinese (looks indon)
jim - chinese philipino
samantha - chinese
azeem - pakistani indian
yvonne - chinese
me - punjabi-nised chinese
nicholl - chindian
may - liberal chinese

well, fine…
there were more chinese in the bunch
but gawd do we ever think differently!
all of us lead different lives, have different ambitions and interests
but yet being able to sit there talking and sharing and joking..
it was just wonderful
though i’m going to miss linda and kishan when they go back to kenya
dont know when they’ll be back or whether or not they’ll actually be back!
oh well..
so for the next couple of months, i’d like to cherish and spend as much time with them as possible

p.s. maywan and maureen, congrats congrats on the engagement and soon-to-be wedding!
all these marital bliss everywhere!
(do check out maureen and vincent’s blog.. the story of how he proposed might make u shed a tear or two.. very romantic)
