My Kitchen Restaurant @ Petaling Jaya

July 27th, 2008 | Posted by taileong

oh no! i’m makin another post on food again! who says i’m gettin thinner…

although i was sick on saturday, it doesn’t stop me from layin my hands on delicious hainanese food. due to the absence of my camera that night, i have to surf around the internet to obtain images from other peoples’ blogs.

i had dinner with my brother and relatives at my kitchen restaurant, located at 26-1, jln pju 1/3b, sunway mas commercial center, petaling jaya. this restaurant was even mentioned in the star online!

it serve many kinds of delicious hainanese cuisine, and been in control of the children’s table, me and my elder cousins started throwin orders on random dishes. we called 2 yam cakes, toufu with minch meat, home cook sawi (which i swear turned out to be kailan), pork bread, fried pork balls (no, not their balls), stewed pork, mutton soup, and chin cha lok omelette. because of my sore throat, i have to avoid spicy food, and that’s alot of food for someone who is ill!

at first, when this mutton soup was served, i thought it was bak kut teh, but nonetheless, it the thick soup still taste awesome despite the strong smell. as a mutton lover, especially mutton curry (yummy), this is definitely not an issue for me.

the price of the chin cha lok omelette was of 2 years ago, and i can’t remember the current price stated in the menu. i do wish to go back there again and try out their curry char siew, taucu fish fillet, spicy braised pork, fried brinjal, and their pineapple drink.

that night, due to my high fever, my uncle and aunt brought me to damansara specialist hospital at 11pm for some prescribed medication, (here comes mayjune’s specialty) especially augmentin (antibiotic) and nurofen (for high fever).
