BTN versus PP and DD

Today i got an email from my coursemate saying that JPA requires us to go for the *brain-washing* BTN camp from 14-18 January.(Wed til sun)

To start of, how smart is that man...people tak payah pergi class ke? Kalau ada lab or turorial macam mana??

Anyway the worst part is on 15 January i have a Pharmacy Practice II class test, and Drugs and Disease II class test on 19 January which contributes 30% to finals. And Biopharmacy IV test on 23 Jan which carries 25%.

We have already asked IMU if we can postpone our tests, but Mr David Chong said a big 'NO!'

I've already planned to study DD only on next thurs to sunday after PP. Now all four days kena pergi BTN. How now???*cries* Sure fail that paper if i go that camp.

Anyway, the question now is to screw BTN camp, or to screw both tests.

But then again, if i screw both tests..then i fail both exams..then i wont have to go to BTN camp d right? Since i cannot fly then. Hmmmm, so basically..screw BTN.

Gadget Fever

happy belated new year to all!

while everyone is talkin about 2009, let’s revert back for a moment to year 2008. below i shall list down gadgets which interest me during that year in their respective categories.

LAPTOP

Sony’s VAIO CS series, with awesome multi-colored LED lights pulse from beneath which react to just about anything the notebook is doing. it also features touch-sensitive, embedded A/V controls for instant change of tracks and volume.

the specialized keyboard font and comfortably spaced keys come together to make a unique notebook even more intriguing. the CS series comes in 5 attractive colours; copper brown, sangria red, glossy black, cosmopolitan pink, dove white.

DESKTOP

HP’s new-and-improved TouchSmart PC, offering a large touch-sensitive LCD display and a lot of wireless connectivity options. this sleek new design puts your digital life at your fingertips and gives you instant access to info and entertainment. porn will never be the same again, as you don’t just “view” but “feel” them as well.

watch your photos, movies or music come to life with TouchSmart softwares, or easily chat with friends using the built-in webcam and mic.

DIGITAL CAMERA

Sony’s DSC-T77, better known as Skinny T, is stylish and slim enough (13.9 mm) to slip into a pocket, so you can take it wherever you go. this amazing camera has a very appealing feature – touch screen – where users can simply touch the area they want focused and the camera will immediately adjust the focus accordingly.

optical image stabilization uses a built-in gyro sensor to detect camera shake and automatically shifts the lens to help prevent blur without sacrificing image quality. DSC-T77 comes in 5 attractive colours; black, silver, green, pink, brown.

HANDPHONE

HTC’s Touch HD, another touch screen gadget which lets you enjoy music videos, films and streaming like you never thought possible on a mobile device. experience internet browsing so exhilarating… it feels like you never left your laptop at home.

it’s all delivered to you on a pixel-packed 3.8” WVGA screen and seamlessly tied together with touch-responsive TouchFLO 3D.

get directions, view satellite maps and find your location using Google Maps. the maps are bigger and crisper thanks to the expansive screen. tap the onscreen controls to zoom in and view more detail. it’s a whole new level of experience.

SPEAKER

while mobile devices industry is caught-up in the grip of ‘touch’ fever, Sonic Gear’s EGO 8T is not left behind. the brand new touch screen interface found on the subwoofer’s front panel handles all the sound settings for the system.

the subwoofer’s glossy piano black faceplate and matte black finish for the rest of the wooden cabinet gives the HP TouchSmart PC a nice matching sound companion.

that's all for my post today

I Kissed a Gurl, but Not in SG!

Howdie fellas…as you guys have all known I was in Singapore a week ago…I discovered something…no…not that I couldn’t land a hot hook-up in Singapore (not even trying okay?)…but to find Katy Perry‘s song, “I Kissed A Girl“… was banned in Singapore…apparently due to some ‘implicit’ references to ‘unnatural sex‘ in the song…whoots!?!?! I was like wtf?!?! How could they ban Katy?! sobs…T_T….I thought Katy was hot…female gays are hot…and the song’s hot….

lesbian

Niceeee.....

I thought thats what everyone thinks…oh well poor Katy….now for her it’s kinda like :

“I kissed a girl, and I liked it….but I can’t do it in SG,

I kissed a girl just to try it…but Lee Kuan Yew dun like it”

I thought the song’s just ‘okay’ when I first hear it…but it kinda grows in me…you know what I’m saying…Her ‘Hot N Cold‘ pretty awesome too!

katy (thru her watermelon phone): "Woei Uncle Lee, why you ban my song ah?!"

katy (thru her watermelon phone): "Woei Uncle Lee, why you ban my song ah?!"

I was so deprived of good music when I was at uni…yea seemed like I was living in a hole…not that I don’t have a radio…don’t have access to the internet or shits….I don’t know why I just don’t get those good music…it’s so bad that I only get to know about Katy’s “Hot N Cold” when I got back here…and I’m pretty sure that song’s been around for quite some time already…

Like when I’m not at home (at uni)…I could only get things like techno / house , those sorta things on the radio…and some good dose of indie stuffs too but I’m more inclined towards R&B, rock those kinda things…so my new year resolution…(one of my many)…would be to try to get connected and not to deprive myself again…

and btw…there’s this band I wanna talk about…its “MGMT“…not a new band…i got to know them pretty late….again due to the fact that I’m living in a hole…it’s just this band that pretty popular like a few months ago, amongst the uni folks…it’s pretty decent stuff…like some sorta mixture of electronica / psychedelic and indie rock stuff…kinda unique in a way…

MGMT – Kids

PS…try listen to the songs a couple of times….I didn’t like them very much at first, but after a while it gets kinda nice…

Mummy: No it's not.
Baby girl: Really? It's not?
Mummy: Yes dear, it's not.
Baby girl: *stared at mummy with the saddest look, eyes started to get teary, uwahhhh!! started crying*
