In New Delhi , Mr. Sharma comes homes one night, and his wife throws her arms around his neck: “I have great news, I’m a month overdue. I think we’re going to have a baby! The doctor gave me a test today, but until we find out for sure, we can’t tell anybody.”

The next day, Mrs. Sharma receives a telephone call from DEB (Delhi Electric Board) because the electricity bill has not been paid.

“Am I speaking to Mrs. Sharma?”

“Yes… speaking.”

DEB Guy, “You’re a month overdue, you know!”

“How do YOU know?” stammers the young woman.

“Well, ma’am, it’s in our files!” says the DEB guy.

“What are you saying? It’s in your files… HOW???”

“Yes… we have a system of finding out who’s overdue.”

“Oh my Goodness!!! This is too much…”

“Madam, I am sorry… I am just following orders. I have to inform you that you are overdue.”

“I know that… Let me first talk to my husband about this tonight. He will speak to your company tomorrow.”

That night, she tells her husband about the call, and he, mad as a bull, rushes to the DEB office the next morning.

“What’s going on? You have it on your file that my wife is one month overdue? What business is that of yours?” the husband shouts.

“Just calm down,” says the lady at the reception at DEB, “it’s nothing serious. All you have to do is pay us.”

“PAY you? And if I refuse?”

“Well, in that case, sir, we’d have no option but to cut yours off.”

“And what would my wife do then?” the husband asks.

“I don’t know. I guess she’d have to use a candle.”

Greetings~ I am Melissa zai. I have chopped off my hair and to go well with my new hairstyle, I changed my gender into ‘ah boy’ zzz.

Neway, after months of thinking, surveying, researching, finally I cut my hair, pixie style.. but some people say I look old, some people say I look like a lecturer huhuhu dat’s not the reaction i expected

So freakin’ damn short kan.. I don’t remember cutting my hair this short. Well, been meaning to do so & finally, after months of collecting guts.. me marching into the salon, ask da hairdresser cut like the style in magazine (pic unavailable). At first the hairdresser don’t dare to cut dat short. After reassuring him that I would not cry & that I am comfortable with a shorter do, den he chopped off uwaaaaa

You know.. I was being brave & all that before he started his magic on my hair. When he cut my back hair like a boy, I was still ok with it.. but when he wanted to start cutting my fringe, I closed my eyes. When I opened, gosh… the first thing I said was, “OMFG, see la.. wana cut short sumore”:’(:’(:’( Reminds me of ANTM with all those models complaining during the makeover session pah!

But now I’m getting used to this short do. Excess baggage gone. Feel more free spirited. More fun & for the 1st time in my life I bought a hair wax. WOW. I know i very de kampung in this kinda stuffs zzz.

Zi Quan: Wow, Mel… (laugh laugh) Quite nice. Better than.. you know who la *wink* But leh… you look like Dr Magdalene wor uwaaaaaaa

Elias: WHAT THE…… FISHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! FFFFFISSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Is this real??(pulling my hair sumore T_T) ouch

“hello, i’m ah calling regarding a modem problem. you see ah, today i come back from work hor, my modem de dsl light keep blinking wor. i did some googling and ended up at tm website lor.”

representative: okay… please go on.
“after following the instructions on tm website on how to troubleshoot blinking dsl modem light hor, my modem light suddenly missing. gone. no more. i tried repeating the tips but i’m still utterly lost, so could you please guide me?”

representative: did you settle your outstanding tm bill?
“yes, i did. but that is not the problem leh. problem is, my modem suddenly no light.”

representative: have you tried rebooting your modem?
“abor, that was the first thing i did.”

representative: did you try unplugging the power outlet first?
“yep, then after that i turn back on lo.”

representative: please explain what do you mean by modem light completely gone?
“erm, at first the light was annoyingly blinking on my modem, but after following the instructions on the website hor, there was no light at all. like modem totally die, you know?”

representative: did you turn on your modem after following those instructions?
“yesh, i did. i even checked all the cables plugged to the modem. all plugged nicely wor.”

representative: it could be your modem’s power adapter issue. have you tried plugging it into another power outlet?
“i tried that. it worked at first, but then leh, my dsl light still blinking so i repeat the troubleshooting steps again and… no light jor.”

representative: how is it possible to have the dsl lights on again, and then the next moment completely gone?
“i dunno. you are the service assistance leh. if i know i won’t call you dy.”

representative: let me guess. did you plug the adapter back into the power outlet after you follow the troubleshooting steps?
“must meh? your website no say must also. haiya, state properly ma. people like me, where got know all this one?”

representative: …

But… I’m not satisfied.

Today i accompanied my mum to her fren's house cuz she was going to teach a couple of ladies (aunties) how to cook THE ORGANIC WAY.

Being a bit curious, i tagged along=) When i reached her house, i was amazed by how 'organic' the place was. There were sooo many organic things e.g. organic soya sauce, sugar, dark soy sauce, olive oil, oat, seasonings etc etc etc..

Anyway, she cooked many dishes for us, but i only took one photo of the food..hehe..not good la right ppl cooking i keep taking photo..


It may look like an ordinary mee..BUT, the mee is actually made of organic red rice flour, the sauce that made the dish darker is organice molasses (sth like dark sweet sauce), organic seasonings for taste. Some vege were planted while for other dishes the ingredients were all 'disinfected' using ozonizer.

Very few of the MANY organic stuffs.=) Some i didn't even know existed!!







The aunty also made us a drink, made of 'mu4 cao3' (mandarin) and green apple. It tastes only green apple but apparently this 'mu cao' has myriad benefits. The aunty even showed us a video on the goodness of mu cao, produced by Taiwan Adventist Hospital.(if im not mistaken)

In the video, a guy with initial BP 220 started taking mu cao continuously for 6 months. His BP is now controlled at 140/95. Another lady who had cancer (I don't know which type) didn't undergo surgery but took this mu cao. The cancer was miraculously cured. Many people have benefited from this plant. Apparently it is good for detox as well, as is widely available and very easy to grow! My mum already took back satu batang to plant.=P

Just a side note (reaaaaally side), Whisper Ultra night twin pack is selling for rm19.50 in Guardian and rm19.60 in Giant. It's really cheap!!=)
