Mizi Shabu Shabu @ Bandar Puteri

because this is my last semester of university life, me and my housemates decided to have a makan-makan gathering. after multiple suggestions and a change in venue, we came to a conclusion: steamboat buffet at mizi shabu shabu.

strategically located in puchong, this restaurant seemed to draw many food lovers, judging from the number of blog reviews already available on the net.

before i proceed, there’s somethin important that my dear readers should know. in bandar puteri puchong itself, there exists two shabu shabu restaurant, but only one offers buffet style. the photo above is the one without buffet, which we first entered mistakenly. the shabu shabu buffet city is located near giant hypermarket and on the same row as citibank.

we arrived there at 8.03pm and were greeted by a not-so-long queue, all eagerly waitin to be seated. 21 minutes later, it was time our time to feast :) the buffet cost rm26.50 per pax. enough said, let’s see some photos!

paying upfront at the counter

finally, it's time to eat!

taisoon started masak damn fast while the rest are still heating up their soup

makan-makan

dunno why my face look so tulan @@

camwhore abit while halfway eating

the conveyor belt style really is something

the buttons used to control the fire

noticed the hygiene practice from the usage of individual cooking pots

and... our vips who got sesat arrived at 9.31pm, greeted by some claps

some fried dishes which you must order separately

oops! me drinking in background

some candid shot

baby octopus which was quite rare on the conveyor belt (people tend to grab em fast)

group photo (except for alwin, who had to leave early)

we left the restaurant at 10.55pm, as they close up at 11. by the way, guess who i met there that night? chang jin, haha. small world eh?

as for the address of mizi shabu shabu:
no. 19, jalan puteri 1/6,
bandar puteri, 47100
puchong, selangor.
tel: 03-80605221

before i end my post, here’s something for you.

Unusual you

Currently Listening to: Rock Me In by Britney Spears on iTunes

I’m not a BIG fan of Britney but I have to admit, I am addicted to her Circus album & this song is my fave of the lot.

Well, today I have nothing meaningful/intelligent to post about not that I have posted anything intelligent before zzz

Today, I shall blog about how not to let your bf pay for something heheh.

My boyfriend or shall I say… a lot of our bf likes to pay for our stuffs. Cos it shows that they are gentleman, makes them feel more man & maybe… in control of something i duno what am i talkin abt wtf

So, today baby & I went to the foodstalls near the football field to get something to eat. I wanted this cucur udang but baby has paid most of my food already I don’t want him to pay for me anymore huhu.

So, I figured out when the lady is almost done cutting my cucur udang & ready to give it to me, I went,”Baby, look what’s that??” (Pointing at the football field). So baby looked over the other side & I paid RM1 to the lady for my cucur udang.

Baby got frustrated cos like any other bf… they wana pay for his gf.

Am I smart or what haha XP

Personality test

I read Huey Ying's blog, which led me to Jane's blog and Ai Wui's blog. They did a personality test which led me to give it a try, out of curiousity and boredom.=P

The test led to this result:

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You are very serious about relationships and aren't interested in wasting time with people you don't really like. If you meet the right person, you will fall deeply and beautifully in love.

Your views on education
You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Anyway, I find the results pretty convincing except some parts:
1) I don't think I am very straightforward.
2) And the part that I will end up with an unusual job, does studying pharmacy but end up being a housewife considered unusual?=P
3) I actually am not confident that I will be successful in my career.
