grateful.. simply grateful


i’ve realised recently that i sort of became the person i most dislike and have lost focus on what i wanted to achieve out of life.
but luckily i’ve gotten all that back again.
and since then, being positively happy have been nothing but good.
it could even be the best feeling in the world!
the feeling is like when a person smiles at you, its always so irresistable to just smile back and it instantly makes your day seem brighter.
to be able to feel again is really something..

i guess when they say, “you’ll never truly  know who you are until you’ve taken a fall or two”,
that line could not be more true.
it is when you’ve tripped and hurt your knee or bumped your head that you honestly understand who you are and what you want out of life.
the choices you make contributes largely to the ‘picking-yourself-up’.
actually, the choices you make IS how you pick yourself up.

looking back, i have a lot to be grateful for.
especially when i constantly remind myself that there are a million other people who’s got ‘life’ worse than mine.

growing up, my childhood wasnt the most comfortable or the smoothest, but i cant say i dislike/regret it because all that happened made me who i am today!
if it werent for the people who hurt me or made fun of me or even put me down, i wouldnt be as strong as i am today (not that i’m all that strong haha)
if it werent for some of the stupid mistakes and choices i made, i wouldnt be as level headed (so i like to think) as i am now.
if it werent for the people whom i’ve met and lost along the way, i wouldnt learn to appreciate things as how i do now.

life really is a bundle of unexpected colourful yarn..
the more we tug at it, the more different colours reveal itself to surprise you at how beautiful life can actually be.

right now, i’m grateful for being comfortable in my own skin and knowing what i want to do and where i want to be.

i'm still in the midst of packing
and i'm leaving for home tomorrow :D

current luggage count :
1 big luggage bag filled with clothes,
1 bag filled with books,
1 bag filled with 10 pair of shoes,
1 bag filled with bags,
1 bag filled with miscellaneous (i.e- cosmetics, hair products, food, rubber gloves, etc etc),
1 laptop bag,
1 bag filled with pillow,blanket&bed-sheet,
1 handbag
... and i am still packing....

so sorry that i was not able to say a proper goodbye today due to exams.
but i really do wish u all the best in everything
and i really had the time of my life with y'all.
thank you all so much for cooperating in class.
well, even though u "zoned off" somewhere during my lesson,
it was still fun having u around physically.

and i'll tell u this

It is just a 2.56 am post

Yay, I just miraculously put my Twitter into my blog. I’ve wanted to do this for a very long time. Simply try and tell myself, let’s just put this widget under calendar widget and see what happens. Update and walah, it’s there yipee!

As you can see I got no followers so damn pathetic better go commit suicide zzz but whatever lah, it doesn’t mean anything also sad life but if you’re reading this and you got twitter please do follow me @melmonica beg beg please please.

As you know, baby and I turned 3 years jor. Another miracle since I have commitment issues but thank god for baby. He showed me that life is not all about drama and fame so shallow kan my life before him. He is the one person that I can be truly goofy and be the craziest woman that you’d swear that I just came out from Tanjung Rambutan. He had already record a video of me doing a horrendous dance to Fatboy Slim’s Right Here, Right Now and if he uploads it on Youtube and accidentally is a hit then you know that sot (crazy) girl is me.

Anyway, this anniversary is the 1st anniversary that we actually celebrate on the day itself. Cos before this, it either falls on a weekday or either one of us is busy etc so we had to postpone the celebration. Anyway, go to my Facebook photos to view the album.

PS: Will share my tips on how to beautify yourself using Photoshop in the next post. I know, fake but who cares? We girls and some guys love it:P

PPS: Am listening to iTunes’ many variety of online radio. Damn nice. Lotsa choices for you to pick and listen.

PPPS: My fav stations are GotRadio-Top 40 and HitzRadio.com. Not our hitz.fm k.

PPPPS: Wow, heard a radio ad said that in America, if Walmart found out that other shops sell same goods lower price than its store, then it will lower its price to match the competitor’s price. That’s why la Malaysia forbid Walmart from opening here. Bankrupt la all kedai runcit.

PPPPPS: Btw, I think it’s a good marketing strategy.
