Great day shopping @ Metzingen!

I went to Metzingen on sunday, famous for it's factory outlet prices for expensive brands like Burberry, Hugo Boss, Tommy Hilfiger etc. Which well, i didn't buy any of them..

They also have many afforable outlets such as nike, puma, esprit, adidas, swatch etc. Here's a photo of some of the outlets available. Click on the photo if u want to read the list of outlets.

Anyway, they also have brands like Reebok, Triumph etc which are not listed anywhere, i wonder why.

We reached Metzingen at 11am. N shopped till around 5pm..muahahaha..
N the result was..tada...

We went in most of the shops there. Except some shops which we weren't interested in. When we entered Esprit, there was total zero trolley. Kenneth said i might probably need one also. But it turned out the other way round. I DID NOT BUY ANYTHNG FROM ESPRIT for myself.

Why?

Simple. Everything was huge. Those very few XS shirts that i could find, i don't like. Those i liked, i couldn't fit. I then resorted to pants and skirts. The smallest i could find was size 34, which i naively thought was the measurement of the butt. N so i thought i probably can fit. It turned out 34 was the waist size.-_-"

I got some other things for other people though.

Well, a summary of what i bought..
The pictures below are strictly not in preference order.=P
It is the order of buying them.

My adidas ClimaCool.

Cute bagpack..hehe..

Kenneth wanted to buy sandals cuz his sandals rosak already. We picked this sandals, which we then saw the offer of 2nd pair 50% off. We saw an exact girl version of his sandals. So we got a pair of it.. Our first couple sandals..*happie*

N finally, after much deep intense consideration, i got this watch. I liked it a lot, but it was a bit loose, n the length couldn't b adjusted.

Pic of all the things i bought. The two same t-shirts were bought from Esprit. One for my bro n one for ken.=)

P/s:
All things for myself were bought by ken. All are my pressies!!whee!! Thank you! muacks muacks..
Also, i bought two other things from Esprit for my frens too. (don't want to mention who..hehe..)

Bon Jovi Concert!

You see this photo below? Written 'front of stage'. We were probably the front 5% of all people present. Woohoo!!

We reached the stadium at about 4.30pm. N the concert was supposed to start at 5.30pm. Unfortunately, it only started at 6.30pm. N thanks to an italian band which sang TWELVE songs, we were all dead bored. No one knew how to sing their songs except a small group carrying italy flag.

The concert only officially started at about 8pm. It was held in Gottlieb-Daimler stadium, with a capacity of around 58,000 people. The stadium seats were FULL. N the entire ground was FULL as well. So i'm guessing there were more than 100,000 people?

See those tiny dots at the side. Those are humans..hehe..

Some of the clear shots with my camera, without using flash.

Anyway, once Bon Jovi came out, the bore was all gone. The 2 and half hours with them passed with a blink of an eye. It didn't feel long at all, unlike the first twelve songs which felt like forever.

We had a super great time! Except the waiting at the beginning, n the pushing into the train after the concert. Which mostly reminded me of ktm n lrt buatan malaysia. N on a side note, germans are like malaysians too..according to this photo:

Paris (Day 3)

The last day of our trip in paris..sobs! So reluctant to leave this place! I felt so much like a tourist and liked that feeling..hehe.. Unlike in germany, kenneth knows the language and all, i feel so homely, which probably is a good thing i guess.

We headed off to Moulin Rouge as our first stop. Saw a lot of 'interesting' photos of scantily clad girls..hehe.. Anyway it was too costly to enter. Show plus dinner is around 150-200 euros/pax!

We went to Arc de Triomphe for a while and spent most of our remaining day in
Champs-Élysées. Things there are expensive. N i mean it! Well, at least i meant it for LV. It was huuuuge, comprising a few floors, selling bags, diamond rings, men and ladies outfits, accesories, shoes, etc etc u name it. One ladies' handbag can cost about 5000 euros! That's like RM25000!*pengsan* And a heels that i saw, was 1800 euros.

Anyway we received a very warm welcome. Which i attribute that to me and kenneth being chinese, and tonnes of people paying at the cashier counter, are also chinese.-_-"

Arc de Triomphe, which we didn't enter..ehe..

Peugeot showroom.

Louis Vuitton in Paris!

We came back to germany by night bus. Our total cost there was about 700 euros. So anyone interested to go there, can start saving now!*winks*

Paris (Day 2)

We originally planned to go up Eiffel tower in the morning. Which means we might need to go queue at 7am cuz it's a sunday. But due to the extreme tiredness from the previous day, not mentioning spending the night in the bus, we decided to postpone it to the third day.

We started our second day to Musee du Louvre. Everyone knows what it is and everyone knows what's inside. There were too many state-of-the-art sculptures and exquisite paintings it was impossible to appreciate all of them. We managed to see a lot of them though. And yes, Mona Lisa has never failed to gather the most crowd. But well, Nike of Samothrace and Michelangelo's Rebellious Slave and Dying Slave have their own fans as well.

A pic with Pyramid Inversee before we entered the museum.. Tat guy behind very 'cho teng' la..hehe..

Louvre. Very sunny day..*happie*

Our next stop was Notre Dame. It was a sunday when we went, so there were many people in the church. I wondered if the visitors were a distraction for them.

Notre Dame

A miniature of Notre Dame

Based on my map reading skills..ehem ehem..we managed to walk to the Pantheon. However we didn't enter cuz the entry was 7 euros and we thought that we would probably leave that place after 15 minutes..hehe..

We then went to Jardin du Luxermbourg. It's apparently a very famous park. I was pretty amazed actually. I mean the park has museums, palace, water fountain and sculptures everywhere. We had our moments there, and then proceeded to St-Sulpice. I imagined it to be small. But it turned out really big..hehe.. Anyway, we had the chance to see the original zero-longitude line, the Rose Line.

The Rose Line

We had dinner at Chartier. Well, the decoration was plausible. But we had a rather unpleasant experience there. N the food wasn't exactly good as recommended in the survival book we had. In short, highly not recommended..hehe..

The deco in Chartier..

We then went to Eiffel Tower to catch the night view. But we soon realise that the night view was way nicer than the day view!hehe.. N considering the queue wasn't long, partially thanks to a concert held near eiffel tower, we decided to go up eiffel tower during the night. N the view really didn't disappoint us! It was..ooo...romantic..hehe..

Taken by my digital camera from the top of eiffel tower. Not bad eh?

Thanks to some tricks using my sony camera, it looks like sunset eh?hehe..it's actually already dark.

This was the actual lighting.

N finally, to sum up our moments on Eiffel Tower.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
