no, it’s not a typo. it’s a western restaurant specialize in serving pasta. it is located in damansara jaya (apparently i can’t give you the exact location as i’m not very familiar with that area myself).

anyway, we were there for an early celebration of gan’s birthday where we can involve soon before he flies off to the u. s. and a.

unfortunately, my camera ran out of battery before the food arrives…

after dinner, we dropped by adelynn’s to plan for the next outing.
last saturday morning, i was woken up abruptly by a phone call from jinni saying pithsoh’s in midvalley and he asked to meet up. i got up, still blur, and took my time to brush my teeth and wash my face before i realised i was supposed to be rushing and not taking my sweet time.
when we got there, we stroll around a little before ending up at pasta zanmai for lunch.

sorry, no pasta zanmai pictures here

after lunch, it was all about walking aimlessly until tea time where we settle down at secret recipe for a few slices of cake.

halfway through the cakes, i noticed jinni zoning away while the rest of us continued the conversation

after that, we parted ways as chianming had to rush to the cinema for a movie with nic
as the small boy of our group is leaving to america for training, the rest of us planned a dinner gathering for him last thursday night at fu kua restaurant, petaling jaya.

of course, you would want to see some food photos here. there you go

chicken with salted egg

fried sotong with honey

claypot local taufu with mix vegetables

fish cooked in nyonya style

pork leg that would be nice if cooked with black pepper gravy
now we can ride to Pangkor island in less than 15 minutes! (if you ask me, the new jetty looks like a factory from far) no, not this island. that photo was taken when we overlooked back towards Teluk Batik direction. Marina Island Pangkor, if i’m not mistaken, is a man-made reclaimed land located very [...]
easier to pronounce as UiTM Selayang, a dedicated campus for their faculty of medicine, i was honoured to be part of the design & build team, although just a small part. my part was just to check the design that my senior did, and indeed it was tough! the moment i got involved, i was [...]
