Paris Hilton

two weeks ago, i was asked to attend the grand openin of club quattro, a newly launched 4 season club located at jalan ampang (opposite klcc). i was reluctant at first, but due to the persistent invitation, i gave in to their request.

guess who i met there? victoria beckham, promotin selfridges & co department store! she even held my picture for a photoshoot. omfg!~

dont believe? i got proof leh…

awesome right? had lots of fun that night.

then, last week, when i was passin by hilton paris hotel, i saw none other than (who else) the appearance of paris hilton, doin some promotion on her newly released album.

i’m still wonderin who’s the lucky guy on her cd cover.

by the way, there’s somethin else i would like to share. it’s been stayin there for some time and i guess it’s time to brin it up. i guess a picture is worth a thousand words:

hint: everythin i wrote above werent true, and all pictures are courtesy of photofunia :D

Cause I Had a Bad Day

because final exam kicks off next week, i’ve been very very words-cant-describe busy. my hours were spent only on project assignments, study for tests, and preparation for presentations.

as of this week itself, i have 4 presentations, 3 tests, and 2 project assignments due. lets not mention last week. imagine, everythin crammed into the last 2 weeks before finals. even if you werent born a robot, you will practically be made into one.

now comes the saddest part. today, i walked out of the administration buildin with my examination ticket. this piece of paper is a must-have in order to sit for your finals. half way drivin back to my house, it rained. it pour so heavy as though the clouds peed like there’s no tomorrow, and i could feel my car’s tires skid a bit every now and then.

when i reached back, i quickly rushed into the house (my car was parked outside some distance away). without noticin, my examination ticket slipped out of the pile of notes i was holdin on my hand, and landed perfectly in the middle of the road.

in my room, i scrambled through my notes only to find out that my examination ticket werent there anymore. i dashed outside, retracin my every step. there it was, lyin on the road, in pieces. the only word that came across my mind at that particular moment was “shit”.

havin picked up the pieces, i brought them up to my room and dried them up before stickin the bits together. that seriously sucks, i tell you.

my examination ticket… or what’s left of it

i wonder if the invigilators would accept my examination ticket next week, or i could be fined rm50 for not turnin up with a legitimate ticket. man, what a bad day.

I Somehow Find You and I Collide

how safe is our lrt?

after yesterday’s collision incident at 6.30pm involvin 2 lrt trains 200m from the bukit jalil station which caused 6 injuries, many of you would started doubtin our light rail transit service.

let’s ponder for a moment about the above question. to date, there’s been 1 accidental overshoot and 1 collision on the ampang line (formerly known as star).

the kelana jaya line (formerly known as putra) has had no collisions or accidents involving personal injury except computer glitch which caused trains to stall.

as for keretapi tanah melayu berhad, there’s been a train derailment with at least 1 death and 12 injuries.

but hey, all these happened over a period of more than 10 years, with millions of passengers served and millions of kilometres travelled! if compared to other public transports, the lrt is safer, if not perfectly safe, than everythin else.

even technologically advance countries like singapore cannot avoid train accidents. on 5th august 1993, 2 trains collided at clementi station after operatin for only 6 years because of an oil spillage on the track, which resulted in 132 injuries.

there, did i answer the question?

A Very Random Post

yesterday, i went down to lowyat plaza to buy a 19″ lcd monitor. it was high time to get one since my house’s desktop crt monitor (the huge bulky one) is startin to display distorted colours randomly.

at first, i had my mind fixed on a lg monitor, which cost rm539. after surveyin around, i decided to pay rm64 more for a samsung, as it is the best brand for lcd monitors. this lcd got sexy touch buttons at the bottom right corner man (you know, like touch screen concept).

a soon-to-be-happy samsung user, i carried my 5.3kg 943bwx lcd monitor from lowyat plaza to imbi monorail station to kl sentral to serdang ktm station. damn tirin wei!

samsung 943bwx lcd monitor

once i reached home, i managed to test out the lcd before i tidur macam babi. no joke man, my housemates took a picture of me which looks obscene:

damn it, i look naked
